Is it redundant for an atheist to write a book undermining the existence of god?
But it's not common sense, is it? It is totally alien to us humans that the Universe could be caused by nothing and has no purpose. It is natural for humans to ign human properties to that which we don't understand, so it is natural for us to have some sort of religious belief. I'm an atheist, but I'm willing to consider the possibility that I'm actually wrong because God could well be real. Which is why people like Richard Dawkins write books about atheism, because it takes a mive dose of rationalism and logic to dispell religious belief.
