You are entitle to apply for a free transit visa upon arrival at LCCT provided you are able to produce your confirmed ticket to Kochi. You will be given a transit visa of not more than 120 hours. If you plan to stay in Malaysia for more than 120 hours, then you will have to apply for a normal entry visa. Whether you are flying with Malaysia Airlines or Air Asia is irrelevant here as long as you enter Malaysia and then leave Malaysia to a third destination in a third country ( Philippines-Malaysia-India ) within 120 hours.
