Why can't people not except the evolution is more unbelievable than creationism?

The amazing thing about life is that all organisms are basically the same but of course there are major phenotypic and genotypic differences often due to small changes in the DNA. The thing about evolution is that it is still a theory and can offer insight into a great deal of biology but cannot answer fundamental questions. DNA encodes proteins yet requires proteins to decode it. RNA is offered as the alternative but although it has catalytic properties its very instability could surely not be stable enough over millions of years to conserve a living organism never mind provide genetic differences to the parent that were still viable. I am a scientist yet believe in a creative force.
