Question for anyone with knowledge in Christianity?

If god is all knowing, couldn't he have predicted Satan's betrayal and just not have created him? Just stipulating here, I know this question is old,. but I want a modern Christian view. Also, if your answer is "Satan had free will so he chose to be evil," then my question becomes this; if FREE WILL truly exists, then god cannot be all knowing right?
